East Cove Restaurant Review ~ Lake George, NY

Remember way back in July the boys and I went on a road trip to Illinois to do a college tour of Bradley University? I know 5 months later, I almost forgot too. Good news, I think I finally have my blogging groove back and I am ready to get back to the reviews!
I am so happy that this road trip allowed us to drive through the Adirondacks. The entire ride was beyond gorgeous and I am scheming of ways to get back to Lake George for an actual vacation!

I had purchased a Groupon (are you surprised by my frugalness?). We were headed to East Cove Restaurant for our last meal of the trip. The ride was stunning but long. We were starving by the time we reached the restaurant.

I loved the inside of this restaurant. It reminded me of an upscale summer camp. It made me so happy to be inside there.

Our Groupon gave us an appetizer and 2 entrees. Everything sounded so great and it was difficult to make our final decisions.

Did I mention we were starving? We completely devoured that bread!
Even though I wanted the bacon wrapped scallops, I got outvoted by the boys and we went with the mozzarella sticks. I can't say I was disappointed, I always love a good mozzarella stick.

Riley and I had a choice of soup or salad with our entrees. I went with the salad and Riley had the soup. As you can tell in the above picture, Riley enjoyed his soup.
Gabrian picked the hot dog kids meal. He gave me the thumbs up on this one.
Riley went with the Sliced NY Sirloin. He found the steak to be flavorful and the fries were crispy.

I had the real winner of the table. I picked the Seafood Fra Diablo. It was a an absolute huge portion and tons of seafood. One of my favorite things in the world is Sea Scallops and this had so many of them in along with giant shrimp. This was amazing and I hope to some day get to eat it again!

We definitely want to return in the future. If you would like to try them out for yourself, they are located at 3873 NY-9L, Lake George, NY.
