The boys and I stayed in Henrietta, NY after visiting Niagara Falls. We stayed at a wonderful Red Roof Inn and had a wonderful nights sleep. We got in late and I was so grateful that we already had a reservation because it was pouring rain and they had a sign up on the front door announcing they were full (in fact I overheard the front desk clerk take several calls advising people there were no rooms).
We were exhausted after our busy day visiting the Falls and we managed to sleep past breakfast. Fortunately I had done tons of research before the trip and I knew there was a tasty restaurant for us to try for breakfast. According to TripAdvisor, Peppermints Family Restaurant was the place to go for breakfast.
This place was hopping and we knew that we had made the right choice.
They had a great selection to pick from and it was a tough call for me to make my final decision.
Our drinks came out and we settled in for the wait.
Gabrian picked the Mickey Pancake with chocolate chips. He loved this and ate it all up. He was especially fond of the fact that it was in the shape of Mickey's head.
Riley picked the eggs, bacon, and home fries plate. He was pleased with his choice and thought that potatoes were fantastic. They were seasoned perfectly and had really great flavor.
I went with my usual favorite. I picked corned beef hash and eggs. This was so good! I wish we lived closer so I could go back. I love corned beef hash and this one did not disappoint.
Overall, we had a wonderful breakfast at Peppermints. Hopefully, someday we make it back to Henrietta, so we can try them again. If you would like to try them out for yourself, they are located at 4870 West Henrietta Road, Henrietta, NY.
