Sunny Day in my Parking Lot

It was a Sunny day in Maine and I took full advantage of it. It was a warm almost tropical 55 degrees at lunch time (anyone that is reading this and in a warmer climate, keep that fact to yourself...I want to delude myself that it is almost summer).  I was so happy to be outside that I took an actual selfie (this is a rare occurrence so I surprised myself).

I attempted to take the trail that runs off our parking lot at work. But apparently we are not far enough into summer yet (see how I deluded myself into skipping Spring).

I tried to walk through the snow and pretend it was sand but it turned into ice and I had to give up the dream. I made my way back to the parking lot and my slightly boring lunch time walk. I can't wait to get on that trail and mix it up.

I got out into the parking lot and don't think I have every seen as many people out there. I attempted to get a picture of the crowd and failed pretty dismally. I am still going to post it anyway.

If you look at those colorful dots in the distance, those are actual people. My friend wasn't able to walk with me today and it was nice to have the camaraderie outside.

I enjoyed my walk not only for the beautiful weather but also for the new Mantra/thought process I came up with. I am trying so hard to add activity into my daily routine. Everyday I am walking I am getting distance from "Fat Me". When I am inactive I am allowing the Fat Person a chance to catch up to me. I need to work as hard as I can to gain as much distance from "Fat Me" so that person can never catch up.

Overall, I would say it was a successful lunch time walk!
