I weighed in at 334.4 lbs. this week. This was a loss of .9 lbs. and a total loss of 20.4 lbs. I earned another 5 lb. star! I was glad to lose but I had been hoping for a better loss. I know many people lose slowly and they would be thrilled with .9, I still felt a twinge of disappointment.
I will keep evaluating of food for the week to see if there are areas that could use improvement. One thing I could definitely use is more Activity Points. I feel that with the same activity, I am earning fewer points. I know as you lose weight it will be harder to earn the points, but I don't feel like I have lost that much yet to really have it affected. I wear the Activity Link so I am going to assume it is accurate and I will just have to work harder to get more of them.
This month at the meetings they are focusing on activity. I will try to make it a challenge this week to find the activity points in things that are not exactly exercising. One member at the meeting said that during the winter she will put each article from the wash away separately. So she will take a shirt and put it away and then go back to the laundry room and put something else away and so on. I thought that was such a great idea instead of folding in front of the television. My laundry room is in the basement and our bedrooms are on the second floor so two sets of stairs should help with the points. I will try it out and report back to you.
Today we went to Boston to the Flower Show. I was able to get in lots of walking and so far today I have earned 6 Activity Points and I am hoping to see a few more before bedtime.
Also, like a broken record, I need to get better with my water. I don't know why it is so hard to get in at least 6 glasses of water. I need to do it consistently every week.
Wish me luck on my journey for this coming week!
